Requirements:
1/8" bleed all around
Unlike photographic prints which we automatically enlarge before printing to produce full bleed images, press printed products require a 1/8" bleed. For instance, a 5x7 press postcard requires a file size of 5.25" x 7.25". This doesn't mean, however, that a border around the image can be added to provide the bleed. The cutting and scoring of the paper is an automatic process which requires for some tolerance as the paper moves through the mechanized parts. The cardstock will be cut somewhere within that "bleed" area, not exactly 1/8" from the edge. Please keep all important parts of the image, subject, and text at least 1/4" from the edge.
