Photo Prints

GTA Imaging provides reliable colour consistency in photographic prints. We use professional printers and software to maintain this consistency. Photographic prints are made using Fuji paper which can produce vivid colours and beautiful skin tones. Our paper is actual photographic paper which is light exposed and then chemically processed. We do not use inkjet printers for our photographic prints!

We offer 2 main types of Photographic Prints depending on their needs:

• RTP "Ready to Print" ( No Colour Correction ) Photo Prints.

• Colour Corrected Photo Prints

RTP "Ready to Print" Photo Prints - No Colour Correction

For those digital photographers who colour correct their own images, and are looking for an easy, fast, affordable way to print - we would like to introduce our Calibrated RTP service. As the name implies, RTP files need to be ready to print.
No adjustments will be made at our lab. Please ensure each file is cropped & sized at 300 dpi with sRGB or Adobe 1998 embedded profile. We will not accept files that are more than 8 bits per channel colour mode. Please contact us for an ICC Profile and reference bullseye print to compare on your monitor, this will give you a rough idea how your colour looks.

• Discounted prices for quantity orders of all the same size.
  

• Mix quantities are allowed for ROES submitted orders.
  

• For Non-ROES submissions, please separate orders based
  on same quantity & size.
  

• All files must be sized & cropped correctly.
  

• All files must be flattened. (ie. No layers)
  

• 8 bits per channel is required.
  

• JPEG files between High & Maximum quality compression preferred.
  

• sRGB or Adobe 1998 colour space required. (Please do not mix both colour spaces in the same order)
  

• Custom borders are available through ROES.

Colour Corrected Proofs:
Images under this service are individually colour corrected. Basic colour & density adjustments are applied to each file by our experienced colour technicians. We adjust brightness & colour, for each file to achieve optimal quality at an economical price.

Colour Corrected Photo Prints:
Images under this service are individually colour corrected to a finer detail. In addition to colour and density these prints are adjusted for contrast, saturation & sharpness.

Custom Prints:
GTA offers a full colour correction service called Custom Printing. Our technicians adjust the normal 5 levels of criteria as well as; Dodging and/or Burning, and slight retouching. This service is commenly used for more detailed colour correction.

We offer retouching on a quotation basis. Our rates are $60/hour and the minimum charge is $10.00.

A cd/dvd of your retouched images is available for $8.00.

 

Miscellaneous

• Wallet sheets and Package print sheets are not cut.
  Only individual wallets are cut with a square corner.

• While different paper surfaces are available, they may not be mixed in one order.
  Each order must meet the $5.00 minimum charge.

• We offer retouching on a quotation basis. Our rates are $60/hour and the minimum charge is $10.00.

• Add a cd/dvd of your retouched images is available for $5.00.

Enlargements

Enlarge your photographs with our 30" wide Photographic Chromira Large Format printer! Print as long as 90+ inches.
